The cheapest land for sale in the province of Cantabria is in the municipalities of Izara, with a minimum value of €0.50/m²; Molledo, with €1/m²; Drying, with €1.20/m²; Proaño, with €1.30/m²; and Yera, with €1.60/m². The price has such low figures due to the great availability of rustic land for sale.

The towns with the most expensive urban lots are: La Arenosa, Liencres, Santa María de Cayón, Ajo, Gornazo, Queveda and the provincial capital, Santander. The situation of developable plots is like that of urban land since it is concentrated and presents greater demand in the same places.

Protected forest land predominates in Cantabria

Most of the Cantabrian natural areas are protected for their environmental and landscape interest.
